WHO IS KATIE JO?
Hailing from Philly, Katie learned at a young age the importance of Barbara Striesand, a strong sense of humor, and thriving in any given situation.
After blossoming in performing arts school, she moved to New York City to pursue her dreams of waitressing and taking odd jobs to pay the rent. It was during said odd jobs that Katie solidified herself as a Renaissance Woman. She quickly proved she could juggle and succeed at all of her passions. Some days she found herself selling apartments, waitressing, knocking 'em dead at an open mic night, and styling the Princess of Saudi Arabia, all in 24 hours.
After working as a professional stylist at acclaimed department store, Bergdorf Goodman, Katie Jo left her beloved New York for Los Angeles. Here she would pursue a dream of sitting in traffic and going on casting calls as "the quirky best friend." She immediately landed a day job working with some of the industry's most exclusive agents, managers, and casting directors.
The relationships she cultivated during that time would become the catalyst for Katie Jo & Co. She saw a void in the business that needed to be filled. Busy individuals who just didn't have enough time in the day to get everything done. From finding the perfect acting coach for their clients to throwing a unique holiday party for friends, Katie became the one they turned to.
Katie Jo has aquired and perfected many different skills over her lifetime, and she has brilliantly found a way to build a business putting all of that know-how to use. Katie Jo & Co is a company built from her love of helping others and her uncanny ability to make the seemingly impossible, possible.
